Dear Sir and R/V/W/Brother,
General William Masonic Polyclinic, under the aegis of the Regional Grand Lodge of Northern India, is running at Janpath, New Delhi. The state-of-the-art Masonic Eye Centre under General William Masonic Polyclinic is functional at Freemasons Hall, Janpath, New Delhi for the last over three years.
Masonic Eye Centre, which is a part of General Williams Masonic Polyclinic, has latest equipment to screen, diagnose and treat the patients for any eye problems and a modular operation theatre for eye surgeries such as Cataract etc. The objective of this project is to provide eye care and cataract surgeries for people from low socio-economic background. General Williams Masonic Polyclinic has also decided to conduct 100 free cataract surgeries in a year.
Masonic Eye Centre also has an air-conditioned mobile eye clinic van equipped with latest machinery to conduct eye check-up camps in Delhi and NCR, serving the poor strata of society. While the less critical cases will be treated on site, those requiring cataract surgeries will be referred to the Masonic Eye Centre at Janpath.
Lodges are requested to organise eye-camps in different areas/localities of Delhi
and NCR for which Masonic Eye Centre will provide the mobile eye clinic van and specialist doctors. Eye camps can also be organized at charitable centres like old age homes, orphanages, homes for destitute etc. Brethren are requested to identify persons who cannot afford cataract surgeries and refer them to the Eye Centre. Lodges/Brethren can also sponsor poor patients for cataract surgeries with a contribution of Rs.3,000 per patient.
