REGIONAL GRAND BOARDS
Regional Grand Boards of General Purposes
Regional Board is the policy making body of the Regional Grand Lodge. All decisions related to change in the policies, bylaws & regulations, procedures, etc. related to the Regional Grand Lodge of Northern India are taken by the Board. The Board may recommend or report to the Regional Grand Lodge whatever it shall deem necessary or advantageous to the welfare and good governance of the Craft, and may originate plans for the better regulation of the Regional Grand Lodge and the arrangement of its general transaction. The recommendations of the Board, when adopted by the Regional Grand Lodge, be treated as an edict of the Regional Grand Lodge.
The Regional Grand Board is presided by the President, appointed by the RGM in every Annual Investiture Meeting. RW the Regional Grand Master is an esteemed member of the Board. Apart from some ex-officio members and some nominees of the RGM, there are some members who are elected by the Lodges in the Region for a period of one year annually. There is a dedicated Board for each Degree – Craft, Chapter & Mark.
