The enthusiasm for this year’s UBD Celebrations is very high. Answering the call given by RW Bro Puneet Sohal, RW Bro the Regional Grand Master, many Lodges from across the Region have planned various events to celebrate the Day. A series of events have been lined up throughout the month. The biggest event is going to be the Walkathon planned for Sunday, 22nd June, all over the Region. The passion is exciting.
The Co-ordination Committee, headed by RW Bro KS Rekhi and RW Bro PK Sharma and ably supported by the ARGM’s and the office of the Region, is working overtime to make the celebrations a great success.
Many Lodges and individuals are coming forward to support by way of initiative, ideas as well as finances. 10 Eye Checkup camps are lined with as many Lodges/organizations taking the initiative. Mega Cataract surgery camp shall be organized around 24th June at the Masonic Eye Centre, Janpath, to serve poor and needy patients shortlisted from these camps. Two limb-donation camps, in New Delhi and Hissar, have been planned. One Blood-donation camp and Health check-up camps have been organized.
Please find attached the Schedule of events lined up for this month. You are requested to join the celebrations in large numbers.
RW Bro Puneet Sohal, in his efforts to promote inclusivity, is reaching out to all Lodges and brethren for their suggestions, innovative ideas and support to make a big success of UBD 2025.
